Welcome to Coach Ian Schnarr’s blog!
Coach Ian is the Director of Performance and Head Strength and Conditioning Coach at Redline Conditioning (in Kitchener, Ontario), and also the Head Strengh and Conditioning Coach of the Elmira Sugar Kings Jr. B Hockey Club.
Redline is the Strength and Conditioning Provider to the Kitchener Rangers (OHL), Kitchener Dutchmen (Jr. B), NHL, AHL, OHL athletes, Kitchener Minor Baseball, and a host of other teams and adult clientele looking to get the most out of their potential.
On any given day, Coach Ian sees and trains over 100 athletes and adults ranging from youth and pre-teen beginners, to OHL and Division I athletes, to semi and professional athletes and fitness competitors, to fitness newbies looking for a change. Coach Ian believes in utilizing an individualized approach to maximize each members results, never settling for a “one-size-fits-all” approach.
The goal with training is to be able to adapt to the demands of your client, not force them to adapt to yours. He who cannot adapt is already extinct.
The internet can be a confusing place for finding fitness information that you can rely on and trust. And social media is no different. Here you will find articles, videos, blogs, and random topics running through my mind that will help you become a stronger, more powerful and durable athlete.
